About hulle

hulle is a small collection of everyday tools — PDF handling, QR codes, and a handful of finance calculators — built to be fast, free, and free of the account walls and upsells most “free tool” sites bury you in.

Why it works the way it does

Most of the tools here — merging PDFs, splitting pages, generating QR codes — run entirely in your browser. Your files never get uploaded to a server, because they never need to leave your device to do the job. That's not a privacy feature we bolted on; it's just the more honest way to build a tool like this.

The finance calculators

The Zimbabwe PAYE and EcoCash calculators exist because good, current, local versions of these tools are surprisingly hard to find. They're built from publicly available rate information and are estimates, not official figures — each calculator says exactly where to double-check the numbers that matter.

Who's behind it

hulle is built and maintained independently. It's one of a small number of tool sites we run — built because they were useful to make, on the assumption other people would find them useful too.
