Privacy Policy

This explains what happens to your data when you use hulle.online (“hulle,” “we,” “us”), written in plain language rather than dense legal boilerplate.

Tools that never leave your device

The PDF tools, the QR code generator, and the finance calculators (PAYE, EcoCash, loan) run entirely in your browser. The files you upload and the numbers you enter are processed locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers or anywhere else. We have no way to see them, because they never leave your machine.

The one tool that does make a network request

The currency converter needs a live exchange rate, so it sends the two currency codes you've selected (for example, “USD” and “ZAR”) directly from your browser to a third-party exchange-rate service to fetch the current rate. The amount you're converting is not sent \u2014 the conversion itself happens locally once the rate is returned. That request is subject to that service's own privacy practices, not ours.

What we don't collect

hulle doesn't require an account, so we don't collect your name, email, or login credentials for using any tool. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) are generated automatically by our hosting provider as part of normal web traffic handling and basic security monitoring \u2014 these aren't used to build a profile of you.

Advertising

hulle shows ads served by Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can learn more and manage your ad personalization settings at Google's Ads Policy page.

Children's privacy

hulle is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
